Description
Summary:Malaysian universities are undergoing an education revolution in order to become centers for academic excellence. In order to achieve this, several Research Universities (RUs) has been established to drive research & development, commercialization and production of postgraduates. The Malaysian University Research Assessment Instrument (MyRA) is an assessment method used to evaluate the performance of current RUs, as well as other universities vying to become one. The amount of data to be organized is vast; therefore an information system based on MyRA needs to be developed in order to organize the data more efficiently. This paper presents an Entity-Relationship analysis for such a system. The analysis can be used to guide the development of an information system to cater for MyRA evaluation. © 2011 IEEE.
