Description
Summary:This study demonstrates a comparison of the Weather Research Forecast (WRF) simulation results using the original values of satellite derived land surface albedo (LSA) and modified LSA as compared to the in-situ observations from the CAQMs located in Putrajaya, Malaysia. The comparisons were executed diurnally. The impacts of localized LSA were quantitatively analyzed using Weather Research Forecasting (WRF) the Advance Research WRF WRF-ARW dynamic solver using the Near Surface Temperature output. It was identified that an improvement of simulation and prediction can be acquired if the LSA uncertainty requirements (0.02-0.05) climate change modelling is fulfilled. © 2015 IEEE.
