Businesses and organizations must acquire digital skills and creative content to maintain a competitive advantage and thrive in today's digital era. In order to provide students with the necessary digital skills, this has compelled higher education institutions to implement a new evaluation method. This study examines the website design and development assessments presented to students at institutions of higher education to determine their attitudes and aptitudes toward the assessments. Two hundred ten students enrolled in a diploma or bachelor's degree program enrolled in a course titled End-User Software Applications or Office Software Applications participated in the study. Using SPSS 23.0, the data was analyzed. Students demonstrated good attitudes and aptitudes for acquiring digital creative content skills, specifically website design and development assessment. Before enrolling in the class, most students had no previous experience with website design. However, most students attained good to excellent proficiency levels. This research provides educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers valuable insights into integrating digital literacy into traditional education systems. It highlights the significance of engaging students in real-world projects to prepare them for the ever-changing digital landscape. © 2023 IEEE.
