This study seeks to address a significant gap in the literature by examining the influence of CSR initiatives on employees' pro-environmental behavior (PEB), with a focus on the mediating effect of green organizational identification and the moderating effect of environmental knowledge. By integrating these variables, the paper aims to offer a comprehensive understanding of how organizations can foster sustainable behaviors among employees. The expected outcome of this research is to create a comprehensive model for assessing employees' PEB and its influence on environmental management (EM) initiatives within organizations. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and case studies, this research will provide empirical insights into these relationships. The study will highlight how enhanced green organizational identification and increased environmental knowledge can lead to more proactive employee engagement in sustainability initiatives. The findings are anticipated to inform organizational strategies for implementing effective CSR practices and developing targeted environmental education programs, ultimately contributing to improved organizational sustainability. © 2025, SHPMedia Sdn Bhd.
