總結: | Water quality may differ in at least two physical parameters from water system typically used to measure the growth of microbes: pH and temperature. This study is to determine the most significant water physical parameters associated with the growth of Escherichia coli (E. coli) strain in the laboratory. Water physical parameter in distilled water with cultures strain in nutrient broth were performed in sterile condition, testing the effects of E. coli growth and incubation temperature at 37 °C. Growth of E. coli data were analysed using Pearson correlation and the results show good relationship with pH (r=0.971), time (r=0.958), turbidity (r=0.885), dissolved oxygen (r=-0.861), and temperature (r=0.763). This study indicates five out of seven water physical parameters that are highly correlated with E. coli growth. © 2016 IEEE. |
