Summary:The study examined the issue of nurses burden in a public hospital setting, to determine the relationship between demographic factors and burnout. The objective was to provide insights into the triggers of burnout, aiding nurses in mitigating mental health challenges. Using a quantitative approach, data from 282 nurses was collected through a structured questionnaire using a convenience sampling technique. Results showed a connection between demographic factors and burnout, with the duration of working experience and department significantly influencing the likelihood of burnout. The study revealed the importance of a supportive work environment for nurses, promoting well-being and enhancing patient care.
