Description
Summary:This article aims to identify the level of accessibility and affordability of quality healthcare for people in Sabah. In-depth interviews were conducted with eight informants through qualitative research, and it was found that accessibility is very crucial due to the higher cost of traveling and ultimately related to affordability. Various initiatives require commitment from the government and community yet to be effective due to budget constraints, a lack of awareness, and community ability. All parties concerned need to work as a team to ensure that no one is left out of quality healthcare to achieve the sustainable development goal of 2030.
