總結:Transitioning to renewable energy sources offers numerous benefits, including reduced electricity transmission costs and global climate change mitigation. Maximizing biomass energy performance is essential for improving power generation efficiency. Various optimization techniques have been employed in biomass energy systems to enhance operational efficiency and overall performance. However, developing optimal techniques that account for the inconsistent availability of biomass energy supplies remains a significant challenge. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the primary goals for optimization in renewable power systems, particularly those powered by biomass. It presents advanced optimization techniques used in biomass energy systems, examining their roles, limitations, research gaps, and contributions to the field. The review highlights that the main objectives of optimization approaches are to minimize investment, operating, and maintenance costs while improving system reliability and reducing emissions. Furthermore, it outlines the challenges associated with optimizing biomass energy systems. The findings offer productive future research trajectories to enhance the efficiency of biomass energy systems, ultimately enabling better planning and integration within the broader renewable energy landscape. © 2025 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC
