The number of people throughout the world seeks health information using the Internet is now growing. The Internet is used for locating and communicating for health-related purposes. The pattern of online health information seeking behavior (OHISB) is worth investigating. The objective of this paper is to investigate the pattern of online health information seeking. A total of 482 completed questionnaires were obtained and valid for data analysis. The respondents had experience in seeking health information online. The study findings discovered that there are four segments of OHISB. The four segments include pre seeking behavior pattern, initial seeking behavior pattern, during seeking behavior pattern and the final segment, post seeking behavior pattern. It is hoped that understanding OHISB pattern could contribute to better understanding of Malaysian society in seeking information regarding their rising health issues. © 2017 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
